DERMAL FILLERS
The use of dermal fillers has been used for many years . Most products are largely made of Hyaluronuc Acid, a product which is naturally found within the body thus making them less likely to cause allergic reaction.
Dermal fillers are injected via a fine needled syringe into the skin as an anti ageing treatment and can help aliminate fine lines, wrinkles and indentations . By placing filler in the correct places you are able to bring back a more youthful appearance . Dermal fillers are also a great way of contouring and enhancing your features by adding volume and shape. It is also possible to achieve correctional procedures to the nose and face to create asymmetry.
Different dermal fillers and techniques are used for different areas according to the clinet’s skin type.
Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Anti-wrinkle injections are one of the most popular cosmetic treatments to significantly re-establish a younger complexion. They can be used on all parts of the face and neck to subtly soften laughter lines, dramatically reduce deep set wrinkles. Botox®, which is an FDA approved toxin is made of purified botulinum protein. When this protein is administered in small amounts into the muscles it blocks the chemical release of acetylcholine, which is needed to trigger muscle movement. Botox® temporarily stops the effect of acetylcholine, meaning the muscles responsible for the visible lines and folds on the epidermis, become relaxed. A smoother and visibly younger appearance is then achieved.
