Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections are one of the most popular cosmetic treatments to significantly re-establish a younger complexion. They can be used on all parts of the face and neck to subtly soften laughter lines, dramatically reduce deep set wrinkles. Botox®, which is an FDA approved toxin is made of purified botulinum protein. When this protein is administered in small amounts into the muscles it blocks the chemical release of acetylcholine, which is needed to trigger muscle movement. Botox® temporarily stops the effect of acetylcholine, meaning the muscles responsible for the visible lines and folds on the epidermis, become relaxed. A smoother and visibly younger appearance is then achieved.

Pre-Treatment Advice & Aftercare

Before a treatment a consultation is required to assess that you are suitable for treatment and what you would like to achieve from your treatment.

Be sure to avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your anti-wrinkle injections. Please also avoid taking high-dose aspirin, or other non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drugs – like ibuprofen and naproxen – 48 hours before your first appointment. Taking these pain relief medications implicates the administration of the injections and increases your chance of bruising and bleeding at the entry sites.

Anti-wrinkle injections after care is simple. We  advised for the first 24 hours that you Avoid wearing heavy makeup on the treated areas. Please avoid touching or rubbing the treated areas. No intense exercise, sunbeds, saunas and steam rooms.

The full effect can be seen 7-14 days after your treatment when you can enjoy your smoother and firmer complexion.
